TAHITI - This is the most chic spot with
a little European flair in the entire South Pacific - a blend
of French and Polynesian culture and cuisine. The beaches are
spectacular, your every need is catered to, but be prepared for
the price. It's one of the few places in this hemisphere where
you can have your own over-the-water bungalow. You can slip right
off your balcony and go swimming at night, or you can have room
service rowed out to you by canoe. Definitely unique, and so is
the price (and 95% of the hotels are a-la-carte - meals and drinks
are extra). That's because it's hard to find a more romantic place
on earth.
$6,000 - $15,000 per
couple (9-12 Days)
The Tahitian islands consist of hundreds of
uninhabited little islands, of which only a handful or two have
resorts. Our favorites are
Bora Bora - the most famous, legendary
and beautiful, is where the first over-the- water bungalow resort
was put, and is to this day the number one most asked for Tahitian
honeymoon destination - it's serene, beautiful, and perfect. What
most people don't realize, the island of Bora Bora really comprises
a group of about 6-7 islands. Most of these islands have one resort
per island. Even the airport is on an island by itself - you then
take a speed boat to the island you're staying at.

romantics alike.

On a motu offers a choice of over water

a large deck and covered gazebo. Privacy in a small intimate
setting are a priority for guest who stay here.

Moorea - the second most populated island in the chain
and is closest to the main island (which is called Tahiti). This
island has quite a few little towns, restaurants and stores -
you'll probably rent scooters or bikes to go explore. This is
the greenest island of all. You can even swim with dolphins on
this island.
And the tiny islands of Huahine (Beth's
favorite), Rangiroa, a divers paradise, and Manihi
- black pearl diving is a specialty here.

Tahiti - The main island, has the big international airport,
and the city Papeete, the capital of the whole chain of islands.
It is the busiest island, a commercial capital, a stopping off
point on your way to all of the other islands. From L.A.

The Tahiti Beachfront Parkroyal offers the
serenity and the beauty of the South Pacific. Opposite the
Island of Moorea, a delightful oasis nestles in the heart
of 30 acres of lush tropical gardens, on the edge of an
emerald green lagoon. Just like a dream. The 2 superb swimming-pools

Fiji
- A nation of 300 islands, is much less sophisticated than Tahiti,
like Hawaii probably was one hundred years ago. People here are
unbelievably friendly and open. Beaches haven't been touched in
a thousand years. Most visitors here come from Australia, New
Zealand and the United States because they love the "no snob"
attitude of these fabulous islands. Whether you're a movie star
arriving for a honeymoon, as many do, or a honeymoon couple arriving
from Washington, D.C., you get the same warm greeting. Service
is very personalized and attentive, with a guest to staff ratio
of 2:1.
Life here is casual. You can eat in the best
restaurant in a pair of Bermuda shorts or jeans. One difference
from Tahiti is that th ere are no over-the-water bungalows here
you
will probably be on your own island on the beach in a thatched
roof hut, and most include meals, drinks, and sports in the price.
Waterfalls abound on these islands, with horse back riding along
the beach, and some of the world's best scuba diving. Beth and
Jim both feel Fiji is the best buy for those seeking a romantic,
exotic one-of-a-kind South Pacific Island Honeymoon. See us -
we know all the best island resorts in Fiji.

There are no telephones, newspapers, radios,

Except for a massage, scuba diving and sport games fishing,
the all-inclusive tariff means just that, all-inclusive.
There are 16 spacious bures in the style of Mediterranean
villas hidden away behind gently swaying palm trees on the
waterfront. The beach is superb with swimming and scuba
diving to match. The food and wine is excellent and for
romantics, the resort can arrange a special private dinner
or picnic on your own deserted island in the lagoon.

Specializing in romantic getaways, outdoor
activities, cultural experiences, scuba diving and wonderful
cuisine. It's priority however, is a dedication to provide
the serenity and total privacy you seek and each of the
13 magnificent bures is carefully placed for that purpose.
The Fijian styled bures have traditional thatched roofs
and are furnished in a gracious manner with large lounge
sofa's, spa tubs, private decks and all creature comforts
designed to ensure a maximum level of pampering
